# Volunteers can help tackle willowherb with Pipe Green Trust working party

PEOPLE are being invited to join a work party at a local open space.

The Pipe Green Trust is seeking volunteers to join them from 9.30am to 11.30am on Sunday (26th July).

A spokesperson said:

> "Come along for as little or as long as you like and help remove some willowherb that has started to grow back again.

> "It can easily be removed by pulling or can be cut as well. It is important these plants are controlled, otherwise they will dominate and crowd out smaller, less vigorous plants.  
>  
> "Cutting tools will be provided, or feel free to bring along any of your own."
