A WALK in Lichfield is aiming to promote peace and unity.

The Lichfield Together event will take place on Saturday (8th November).

A spokesperson said:

> “We are individuals and groups who call Lichfield our home – and we believe that we are stronger and better together.

> “We reject attempts to divide us by sowing mistrust and hatred among us.

> “Join our walk for peace and unity to celebrate our diversity and power.”

The walk will meet at 10.30am at Speakers’ Corner on Dam Street.
