Gentleshaw Common

Walkers are being given the chance to learn more about the natural history of Gentleshaw Common.

Lichfield District Council’s countryside team is leading the walk on Sunday (April 18) from 10.30am to noon.

Chris Walsh, Biodiversity Officer for Lichfield District Council, said:

> “We thought it would be a nice opportunity to go on a stomp through the common, while explaining about its history. Anyone who would like to join us will need to book their place. If you do come, please remember to wear suitable clothing and shoes or boots.”

The walkers will meet at The Old Windmill Public House car park at 10.30am. The walk costs £2\. To book your place, please telephone Chris Walsh on 01543 308249 or email [christopher.walsh@lichfielddc.gov.uk](mailto:christopher.walsh@lichfielddc.gov.uk).
