# Walking football sessions to start at Burntwood Leisure Centre

The beautiful game will be bringing down the age barrier in Burntwood later this month.

Walking football sessions will kick off with a free taster at the town’s leisure centre from 12noon to 1pm on November 18.

Led by a qualified FA football coach, participants will find out how to play the game that is becoming popular with older people.

Councillor Andy Smith said: “It’s a great opportunity for older people to meet others, stay active, and to play their favourite game at a more moderate pace.”

After the free taster, sessions will take place on Tuesdays from 12noon to 1pm and cost £2.50 each.
