# Wardens keen to find owners of dog found at Muckley Corner

Dog wardens in Lichfield are trying to reunite a Staffordshire Bull Terrier found at Muckley Corner with its owners.

The female brindle and white-coloured animal was picked up on the A5 on September 18.

She was wearing a rubber collar and is believed to be around five years old.

Anyone with information about the owners is asked to call Lichfield District Council on 01543 308725.

The pooch is just one of many dogs that are not claimed by their owners each year in Lichfield. The council displays the details of all the dogs that are found in the area on their [website](http://www.lichfielddc.gov.uk/site/custom%5Fscripts/lostdogs.php?ref=lichfieldlive.co.uk).

The council takes all of the lost dogs to kennels in Coven where they wait for their owners to claim them.
