Passengers are being warned that train services to and from Lichfield on the cross city line could continue to be cancelled into the evening.

The route has been shut [due to overhead wire problems in Sutton Coldfield](//lichfieldlive.co.uk/2018/03/19/overhead-line-fault-causes-cancellations-for-lichfield-passengers-using-the-cross-city-line/).

West Midlands Railway had originally hoped to have services running again by mid-afternoon, but has now revealed the evening rush hour is also likely to be affected.
