Drivers are being urged to be on their guard after a number plate was stolen in Lichfield.

The incident happened at some point on 16th or 17th November on The Spires.

A Staffordshire Police spokesperson said:

> “Please keep an eye on your vehicles and remain vigilant, especially with the darker nights.

> “If you do see anything that looks suspicious or you catch anything on CCTV please do not hesitate to contact us via 101 or 999 in the case of an emergency.”
