# Business gives £1,500 boost to We Love Lichfield

THE We Love Lichfield fund has been boosted by a £1,500 donation from a local business.

The Arthur Price Factory Shop has raised the money via a range of fundraising activities, including raffles and special events.

The company has also donated cash for the place-based fund after increasing its social media followers – and has confirmed it will continue to support We Love Lichfield throughout 2026.

Simon Price, chair of Arthur Price and patron of We Love Lichfield, said:

> "It is an honour and privilege to support We Love Lichfield.

> "Together with other businesses and individuals we are trying to make a difference across the district, helping local voluntary groups make Lichfield, Burntwood and the surrounding villages a better place."

We Love Lichfield awards funding to a wide range of projects operating across the district and considers applications from local groups.

All money raised is invested through an endowment fund in line with charity commission guidelines, with the financial return then distributed as small grants.

James Price, CEO of Arthur Price, said:

> "We will continue to support We Love Lichfield throughout 2026 and beyond, supporting the fund to achieve its aim of distributing £50,000 every year to local good causes, forever."
