A leading West End and Broadway star is coming to the Lichfield Garrick.

Marisha Wallace, who has appeared in hits such as Dreamgirls, Waitress, Aladdin and The Book of Mormon, will be in the city on 17th March 2020 as part of her UK tour.

The performer, who also starred in Disney blockbuster Aladdin, said she was looking forward to heading across the Atlantic.

“I’m so excited to be heading out on my first ever UK tour,” she said.

“I fell in love with the UK from the moment I first I stepped on stage here. The warmth and love I’ve received from audiences has been really special and I cannot wait to head out to play theatres around the UK – it’s going to be amazing.”

Following her tour Marisha will take on the iconic role of Motormouth Maybelle in the West End return of Hairspray alongside Michael Ball.
