# Whittington running group hailed a “huge success”

A NEW running group in Whittington has been hailed as a “huge success”.

The Couch to 5k sessions have seen members get active after they were launched by Steve Rushton.

A spokesperson said:

> “Members have done brilliantly and have almost reached the finish line.

> “They are so keen that they have decided to continue with their runs at 9.30am on Mondays and 6.30pm on Wednesdays and would welcome any runners who would like to join them.”
