WHITTINGTON picked up victory in the Chairmain's Challenge Cup with a 6-1 triumph over Staffordshire Victoria.

The village side got the scoring underway after a quarter of an hour when Thomas Foskett netted.

It was 2-0 three minutes before half-time courtesy of a George Guy finish before Finn Stevenson added number three in the dying moments of the first period.

Whittington didn't ease up in the second period, as strikes from Cameron Maxwell and Oliver Chapman wrapped up the victory.
