The new regime at Lichfield City FC got off to a winning start in their first pre-season friendly.

Former Chasetown defender Dave Langston replaced Gary Birch in the hotseat over the summer.

And he saw his new charges claim a 3-2 victory against Rocester.

City’s pre-season campaign continues on Saturday when they entertain Bedworth United, kick-off 3pm.
