# Witness appeal after woman dies in Burntwood crash

POLICE are appealing for witnesses after a woman died in a crash in Burntwood.

Emergency services were called to Burntwood Way at 5.40pm on 9th September after the incident involving a red Ford Fiesta and a silver Mercedes 220.

A Staffordshire Police spokesperson said:

> "Sadly, a female passenger in the Fiesta was pronounced dead by paramedics at the scene.  
>  
> "Her next of kin have been informed and will be supported by specialist officers at this difficult time.  
>  
> "Two women and two men were taken to hospital. Their injuries are not believed to be life-threatening or life-changing."
