# Woman found dead in Lichfield house is identified

The body of a woman discovered in a house in Lichfield has been formally identified as Marie Eleana Codreau.

The 27-year-old’s husband, Florin Marion Codreau, 30, appeared before Tamworth Magistrates’ court today charged with the murder of his wife.

He was remanded in custody to appear before Stafford Crown Court on January 25.

Mrs Codreanu was found dead at a property in St Michael’s Road on January 17.
