LICHFIELD'S MP has laid a wreath to mark Battle of Britain Day.

Dave Robertson joined a ceremony at St Stephen's Church in Fradley which also featured a commemorative service.

The Labour MP said:

> "On Battle of Britain Day we remember the courage and sacrifice of all those who served to defend our freedoms during one of Britain’s darkest hours.
