Burntwood singer Mitchel Emms has battled his way through to the next stage of BBC talent show The Voice.
He squared off against West End performer Ricardo Afonso for a place on judge Danny O’Donoghue’s team.
But after a performance of Are You Gonna Be My Girl by Jet, the Burntwood star won through.
Speaking on his Twitter account after winning through, Mitchel thanked his his fans for their support.
“You guys have been awesome,” he said.
