Chasetown FC ended an 11-match winless run with a comprehensive first half display to see off bottom club Brigg Town, notching their first three point haul since October.
The home side were in control from the start and deservedly took the lead in the 15th minute when Jermaine Johnson curled a cross to the far post and Danny Edwards volleyed home from a tight angle.
Just before the half hour mark, Edwards fired goalwards with his shot deflecting past a flat-footed Jody Barford for his and Chasetown’s second goal.
Johnson thought he had made it 3-0 with the ball in the net before half-time with a header narrowly disallowed for offside.

Brigg were more spirited after the interval and stemmed the flow of Chasetown’s attacks, but without really troubling Chase keeper John Bateman.
Barford made a great save to deny Chasetown leading scorer Nathan Waite and then Scholars striker Nick Turton had the ball in the net but was also deemed offside.
In the final minute, substitute Lee Butler rounded off a 3-0 goal victory with a 40-yard effort over the head of a stranded Barford.
Chasetown: Bateman, Smith, Beckett, Slater, Miles, Johnson, Brown (Butler, 68 mins), Parsons, Waite (Turton, 77 mins), Davies, Edwards. Subs not used: Haynes, Danks, Pond.
