Cars stolen in Lichfield after burglars break into houses to steal keys

Cars have been stolen after two house burglaries in Lichfield.

In the first incident a rear door was smashed at a house on Tamworth Road between 1.30pm and 4pm yesterday (January 17). Car keys for a silver BMW 640D Coupe were taken and the vehicle was stolen.

A white Audi RS3 Nav Quattro parked on drive at Nelson Close was taken after burglars broke in through a rear patio door and stole two sets of keys between 10.30pm last night and 5.45am this morning.

Police say nothing else was taken in either break-in.

Anyone with information on either incident is asked to contact Staffordshire Police on 101.
