A Lichfield pub has new owners – and will revert to its former name.
The Barn at Lichfield will become The Three Tuns, a post on the company’s Facebook page revealed.
The Walsall Road gastro-pub has been taken on by the Chilled Pubs group.
The venue had a spell as the Panache restaurant when the previous Three Tuns closed, before becoming The Barn.
But it now seems the original name will return in the coming weeks.
A statement from the new owners said: “We are very excited to have taken over and taken this amazing venue under our Chilled Pubs wing.
“We are operating along side our other fantastic pubs such as The Bulls Head, Repton, The Joiners Arms, Quarndon, The Swan, Walton and The Hunloke Arms, Wingerworth,we only ask for your patience while we grow the business and get up to our popular Chilled Pubs standard.
“This standard doesn’t happen overnight but we assure you we will get there together.
“We are eager and excited to bring this pub back to its former glory.”
In an advert for new staff, the company said its latest acquisition would be getting a new look
“Expansion is a key focus for us as a business,” the advert said.
“The 3 Tuns will be extensively refurbished and offers something different in every corner.”
