Workers in Fradley joining the Wear it Pink campaign

Staff at a Fradley housing development have gone pink to support charity.

The Barratt and David Wilson Homes workers wore special hard hats and high visibility jackets in support of Breast Cancer Now’s Wear it Pink campaign.

The initiative began more than 20 years ago and has since raised more than £39million for the charity.

As well as switching to pink kit, a £1,000 donation was also made.

Dominic Harman, managing director at David Wilson Homes Mercia, said:

“Our construction teams always enjoy the opportunity to wear the pink PPE for the day, and this will have sparked a lot of conversations on site to hopefully raise awareness of the campaign and Breast Cancer Now’s efforts.”
