AN afternoon tea event in Burntwood is set to celebrate the work of informal carers.
It is being hosted by Burntwood Town Council’s chair, Cllr Kathy Coe MBE, from 2pm to 3.30pm on 28th January at Burntwood Library.
A spokesperson said:
“Carers provide compassion and support to others in ways that truly make a difference, but often go unseen.
“As a small way of saying thank you, carers and their loved ones are invited to an afternoon to celebrate and recognise what they do each day.”

Carers are unsung heroes of our communities. It’s a wonderful thing that Cllr Coe MBE is doing something to highlight and that carers for all their efforts in often difficult circumstances.
