PLANS for a new dog walking facility near Muckley Corner have been approved.

The proposal is for land on the Walsall Road alongside the M6 Toll.

The plans would see the facility used daily between 7am and 8pm.

A planning statement said:

“The parcel of land currently comprises of modified grassland and is proposed to be utilised to provide two dog walking fields.

“The site benefits from an existing means of vehicular access that connects via a track with the Walsall Road.

“The dog walking fields themselves are to be enclosed by 1.8 metre high deer fencing. Extensive tree and shrub planting is also proposed around the perimeter of the field.

“No more than two cars per booking will be permitted, with a maximum of two people and no more than four dogs allowed at any one time.

“Waste bins will be provided at the entrance to each field, which will be disposed of periodically by the applicant as demand requires.”
