A BUS company is introducing additional evening and Sunday services on local routes.
Chaserider is being supported by Staffordshire County Council to roll out the changes.
It will see the 60 service between Lichfield, Burntwood and Cannock getting an 11.10pm service from Monday to Saturday along with an hourly daytime Sunday service.
Meanwhile, the 828 between Lichfield and Stafford will also have new evening journeys from Monday to Saturday.
Kallum Crawford, local operations manager at the Chaserider Buses said:
“This is a great time to move up a gear and once again work in partnership with Staffordshire County Council to deliver additional late evening journeys on services along with brand new Sunday services which have been requested by members of the public.”
Cllr Andrew Mynors, Staffordshire County Council’s cabinet member for connectivity, said:
“It’s great news that Chaserider has extended its services into the evenings thanks to funding from Staffordshire County Council.
“This means more choice and increased travel options for our residents. We hope this will also support the evening economy in the towns too.”
The new services will start from today (20th July).
