A LOCAL organisation is hoping to run Burntwood’s first ever Wellbeing Festival.
Revive Yoga and Wellbeing is applying to Burntwood Town Council for funding to help promote the event which is set to take place on 22nd March.
It will feature stalls, taster sessions, family activities, workshops and information about additional support.
A spokesperson said:
“The festival is designed to support the community to improve mental health, emotional resilience and overall wellbeing through connection, educational workshops, and practical sessions that introduce simple, realistic wellbeing tools.
“The aim is to showcase a wide range of activities that residents can try, explore and choose from, helping individuals and families discover what works best for them.”
The council will decide whether to award £500 of funding from the Better Burntwood Fund at a meeting of the community and partnerships committee on 19th January.
