A 15-year-old boy has been assaulted in a street attack in Armitage.
He was walking along Armitage Road near the Ash Tree pub when the incident happened at 10.30am on Wednesday (June 12).
The boy, from Rugeley, was treated in hospital for injuries suffered at the hands of the attacker, who police believe was known to the victim.
A 16-year-old has been voluntarily interviewed, but officers now want to speak to passers-by who saw the attack or intervened.
Anyone with information is asked to call PC Andrea Morris at Staffordshire Police on 101, quoting incident number 188 of June 12.
