A Lichfield group supporting local disabled people is expanding.
Friends to Friends was set up in May 2012 and helps members gain new skills and take part in volunteering and employment opportunities.
Carers and volunteers have also been given training thanks to funding from Lichfield District Council.
The group – which has more than 40 members – is now becoming a charity.
A launch event for this new stage for Friends to Friends welcomed local councillors and partner organisations to see a drama about the group written and performed by members.
