The exhibition will run from April 26 to June 15 and feature sculpture, woodcarving digital animation and textile art, with some exhibits being created especially for the event.

The Rev’d Canon Dr Anthony Moore of Lichfield Cathedral said: “We are delighted to be hosting this wonderfully creative exhibition of calligraphy and lettering and to be working in partnership with two extremely prestigious London institutions, the British Museum and British Library.

“This is an exciting project and we look forward to developing the legacy of Holy Writ in the months and years to come.”

A number of lectures and workshops will also be taking place alongside the exhibitions.
