Police are seeking witnesses to a crash in Kings Bromley which left a man with serious injuries.

A blue Mercedes A class and a white Mercedes goods vehicle were involved in the incident on the A515 near the junction with Shaw Lane at 5.40pm on April 21.

A Staffordshire Police spokesperson said: “The driver of the car, a 33-year-old man from Burton, suffered multiple serious injuries and was taken to the Royal Stoke University Hospital where he remains receiving treatment. His condition is described as stable.

“The driver of the goods vehicle, a 49-year-old man from Liverpool, was uninjured.

“The road remained closed for around three hours while specialist officers from the regional collision investigation unit carried out a detailed examination of the scene.”

Witnesses are asked to contact PC Martin Colclough at Staffordshire Police on 101, quoting incident number 586 of April 21.
