A Burntwood off licence has been targeted by burglars who got away with more than £7,000 worth of cigarettes.
Three men struck at Bargain Booze on Chase Road shortly after 11pm on January 7.
Police say they entered via a rear door and then used a long-handled axe to get into the cigarette cabinet. Vodka and cash were also taken.
A Staffordshire Police spokesperson said: “The three are described as white and were wearing dark-coloured clothing with their faces covered. They also wore gloves.”
Anyone with information on the break-in is asked to contact PC Victoria Morgan at Staffordshire Police on 101, quoting incident 42 of January 8.
