A Lichfield stage school is celebrating 20 years of giving youngsters a chance to explore the world of performing arts.
Founded by Nicky Wright and her husband Adam, Theatrics Stage School works with children aged between four and 18.
Participants learn acting, singing and dancing under the guidance of the couple, who have nearly 30 years of professional experience in theatre and TV performance.
A spokesperson said:
“From encouraging teamwork, to building confidence, enhancing articulation and promoting physical activity, out training at Theatrics goes beyond the stage, providing a well-rounded approach to personal growth.
“The school proudly presents shows twice a year in December and July, offering family and friends an opportunity to witness the transformation and progress of their budding performers.
“The emphasis on performance not only refines the students’ skills it allows them to experience the thrill of live theatre and for the audience to witness the magic of artistic expression and create lifelong memories.”

The stage school has also been able to celebrate a number of student successes over the years, including Mille Caller who went on to attend the Liverpool Institute of Performing Arts and Olivia Wilkinson who is now head of performing arts at Erasmus Darwin Academy.
“To celebrate two decades of artistic excellence, we have planned a grand 20th anniversary party for all current students.
“The celebration will be a tribute to the vibrant community that has flourished within the school’s walls over the years.
“Adding a touch of nostalgia, Theatrics will extend invitations to alumni members of the Adlib Theatre Company, providing an opportunity for past and present students to come together and reminisce about the journey that has shaped their lives.
“The legacy of Theatrics is not just in the performances on stage but in the lives it has touched and the futures it has shaped – a testament to the transformative power of an artistic education.”
