LICHFIELD City will host Brocton in a top of the table clash at the Trade Tyre Community Stadium.
Ivor Green’s men will be back in action this afternoon (12th October), as they set their sights on a 12th straight victory in the Midland Football League Premier Division.
Despite losing out on penalties in the JW Hunt Cup in midweek, City’s fine run of form has seen them climb 12 points clear at the top of the table.
However, the visitors have also had an impressive start to the new campaign after being promoted at the end of last season to find themselves sitting second.
Brocton fired seven past Wolverhampton Casuals without reply in their previous outing, and will prove a tough test for City.
Kick-off this afternoon is at 2pm.
