RESIDENTS and staff at a Lichfield care home have been treated to a day of Spanish flair.
The Spires Care Home celebrated Fiesta Nacional de España, an annual day recognising the country's history, identity and cultural heritage.
It was hosted by the home’s general manager Eva Dominguez, a Spanish native who was keen to share her roots with the home.

The activity room was transformed with traditional Spanish flags, setting the stage for a day packed with activities, teaching and dancing.
An array of authentic items were brought in, including fans, castanets and traditional dresses featuring detailed embroidered flowers.
Eva even treated residents to a live dance performance of traditional pieces, including the Malagueñas from the Málaga region of Andalusia, the lively Sevillanas traditionally associated with Seville, and the powerful, expressive art of Flamenco.
The celebrations concluded with residents and guests sampling a variety of delicious Spanish culinary delights.
Eva said:
"It was an absolute joy to share the traditions, dance and history of my homeland with our residents and guests.
"Seeing everyone engage with the fan crafting and enjoy the music made it a truly unforgettable Fiesta Nacional de España for all of us at The Spires."
