A new environmental project aimed at tackling wildlife loss and improving access to nature in the West Midlands is being backed by Lichfield District Council.
Cameras will be installed at household waste recycling centres in Lichfield and Burntwood this year so people can see how busy they are before setting off.
The generosity and welcoming nature of local people has been hailed after figures revealed more than 300 refugees had moved to Staffordshire as part of the Homes for Ukraine scheme.
