Councillors in Lichfield and Burntwood have been told they would “hand the keys to paradise” over to developers if they delayed the Local Plan process.
The spread of recent new homes and thousands more that could be built across Lichfield and Burntwood over the next 20 years have been outlined in a new document.
A document outlining proposals for Lichfield and Burntwood over the next 20 years says developments that are dependent on people travelling by car will not be supported.
Any developments which could impact on the future use of a former railway line in Lichfield will not be permitted under proposals due to be debated by councillors.
