Residents in Burntwood will be able to get a bigger say on the future of their town if a new neighbourhood plan is adopted, a local councillor has claimed.
Councillors in Burntwood have renewed their calls for the town to get a fairer share of funding on the first anniversary of the collapse of Lichfield’s Friarsgate redevelopment plans.
A Lichfield councillor says he will look to ensure consultants working on the future of Friarsgate land create a plan that is “affordable and deliverable”.
