Lichfield Arts is preparing to kick off its autumn jazz programme by welcoming two of the region’s top acts.
The October 11 gig at the Lichfield Guildhall will feature the Steve Ajao Quartet and the Walsall Jazz Orchestra.
“Well known as a fine blues guitarist, Steve Ajao is also a brilliant Saxophonist a great lover of Bebop in the shades of Charlie Parker and Dexter Gordon, and with a fine driving rhythm section expect to hear some fine swinging jazz,” a spokesperson said.
“The awesome Walsall Jazz Orchestra will shake the rafters of the Guildhall with their big brassy sound pushed along by a blistering rhythm section too.”
