Athletes have kicked off their season with Burntwood Triathlon Club’s first road time trial of the season.
Run over a circuit distance of eight miles, it was won by Aaron Ward in a time of 18.46, with Matt Orford, Steve Williams and Mark Drayon filling the next three places.
A spokesperson said: “This is the first of a series of time trials the club is promoting, with a substantial prize list on offer for those who complete a number of events.
