Police say they are following up new leads about a burglary on a Lichfield clothinng store after an appeal on the BBC’s Crimewatch programme.

CCTV footage from the raid on Cure Clothing in Bore Street was aired on the programme last night (September 27).
The images showed a gang smashing the window of the store with a sledgehammer before taking designer clothes in the raid at 7.20pm on December 19.
Detective Superintendent Juliet Prince said: “We’re hopeful that showing CCTV of the incidents on last night’s Crimewatch will encourage further witnesses to come forward and provide us with new information.
“Anyone who knows anything about either crime should ring Staffordshire Police on 101. Alternatively, they can ring independent charity Crimestoppers, anonymously, on 0800 555 111.”
