Lichfield City Council is on the lookout for a new museums and heritage officer.

They are seeking a “highly motivated and enthusiastic person” for the role at the Samuel Johnson Birthplace Museum.

The post will also see the successful applicant oversee the Guildhall Old Prison Cells.

A job advert said:

“This is an exciting time to join the museum as we seek to increase engagement, improve access to our Grade I Listed building and develop our interpretation.

“You should have experience of working with collections in a museum/heritage setting.”
