THE curtain is going up on the latest production by the Lichfield Operatic Society.
The company will bring The Sound of Music to the Garrick stage from 15th to 19th September.
The show will be packed with iconic hits such as Do‑Re‑Mi, My Favourite Things, Climb Ev’ry Mountain and the famous title song.

"When spirited Maria is sent from the abbey to become governess to the seven von Trapp children, her love of music and zest for life soon transform the family’s world, bringing joy back into a home ruled by routine.
"As she and Captain von Trapp discover a deep connection, they must confront the gathering storm of a changing Austria and stand together to protect what matters most."
