Developers have drawn up plans for build another 150 homes on land off Milestone Way in Burntwood.
A public exhibition of the proposals will take place at Burntwood Library on May 25.
London and Cambridge Properties – the company which owns much of the commercial land near Milestone Way – said it hoped to create two to four bedroom properties on the site opposite Morrisons supermarket, which neighbours land where 351 new homes are currently being built.
A statement from the landowners said: “The site was formerly part of the Burntwood Business Park and contained industrial units.
“Due to a significant decline in interest in these units from commercial occupiers, the units were demolished. The land is now completely vacant and ready for redevelopment.”
The consultation event runs from 3.30pm until 7.30pm on May 25.
