UNPAID carers have been able to get answers to their financial queries at the latest event hosted by a local organisation.
The free Grace Cares Care Club session at Cathedral Hotel welcomed John Moore from Fruition Accountancy.
He spoke about topics including Carer's Allowance, PIP, Attendance Allowance and protecting savings and assets.
The session also covered Power of Attorney, wills and care costs.
More than 25 people attended to hear from a panel which also included Greg Palethorpe from Bowbrook Financial Planners and Ashley Reeves of Four Oaks Financial Services.
Hannah Montgomery, co-founder of Grace Cares, said:
"Carers tell us money is one of the biggest worries they carry – and is often the one they're least likely to ask about.
"There are around 5.7 million unpaid carers in the UK, saving the economy an estimated £184 billion a year, yet many are missing out on support.
"This event was about changing that. Seeing people leave with clear next steps, and knowing who to call, is exactly why Care Club exists."
