A TALK in Longdon will explore the village's past.
Local historian John Shannon will be at St James' Church at 7pm on 24th July.
His talk – Church in Medieval Longdon – is part of the Longdon History Lectures series and will raise funds for the upkeep of the church.
A spokesperson said:
"Can you imagine the church before it had a town or a vestry or north transept? Come and enjoy a glass of wine and discover Longdon life in medieval times."
Tickets are £8 on the door or by pre-booking via tickets@stjames-longdon.org.uk.
