Lichfield City FC face high-flying Kenilworth Town KH in the Quarter-Finals of the Jack Mould Trophy this weekend.
Dean Gilbert’s men reached the final of the competition last season and will be looking to avenge the 4-2 league defeat Kenilworth inflicted last month.
The City boss said:
“It will be a cracking game. Kenilworth are playing very well at the moment and it’s a tough place to go but, after beating Chelmsley Town we go there in high spirits.
“I thought we were unlucky to lose there a few weeks ago and we’ll be looking to get one over them. We had a great run in the Jack Mould Trophy last season and, when you get to this stage of a cup competition, you want to win it.”
Kick-off on Saturday (December 19) is 2pm at Gypsy Lane, Kenilworth.
