Police are urging to Lichfield residents to remain vigilant after burglars struck at four houses in the city over the weekend.
Raiders forced their way into at homes in Chapel Lane, Cherry Orchard, Longbridge Road and Shortbutts Lane on Saturday (November 28th).
Property stolen included Toshiba, Medion, IBM and Siemens laptop computers, a PlayStation2 console and games, a Fuji digital camera and jewellery.
Inspector Trevor Steventon, Lichfield policing commander, said:
“All of these crimes happened when no-one was in at home, possibly as it was getting dark. We’re urging residents to make sure their homes are as secure possible when they go out. Leave a light on and ask your neighbour to keep an eye on your home.
