The granddaughter of an 88-year-old Lichfield woman who was injured when bogus callers forced their way into her home have warned others to be on their guard.

The incident, which happened in the Redlock Field area of Lichfield shortly after 8pm on Monday (8 March), left the woman with injuries to her arm.

The men were both white, one was around 20 years old and the other younger, around 16 years old. The older male was of stocky build with short fairish hair and wearing a blue jacket. The younger male had short, dark hair.
