Plans for a new leisure centre to be built on a park in Lichfield will take a step forward if councillors approve plans for the land to officially earmarked for the scheme.
A councillor has ruled out a public meeting to investigate issues surrounding why homes in Lichfield and Burntwood were given new recycling bags smaller than they should have been.
Council chiefs say they are listening to the concerns of residents over the size of new recycling bags – but insist they must still be used in the meantime.
