Sullivan enjoyed a prolific spell with Chasetown before moving to the Pitmen. But he returned on loan towards the back end of last season.
Should the deal be struck, Sullivan will become new boss Dave Stringer’s third acquisition of pre-season.
Former Coventry City youngster Lewis Rankine and Justin Marsden have both agreed to follow Stringer from his previous club, Rugby Town.
