Families can enjoy plenty of fun with ‘Wacky Wednesday’ sessions at a Lichfield museum.

Running throughout August, the activity sessions at Erasmus Darwin House will be able to take part in a different themed event, including the Magical Garden and a Day With Erasmus Darwin to discovering crafts from around the world and exploring Colour Chaos.

“Erasmus Darwin, who had 17 children in total, obviously loved youngsters, therefore it feels right that their former home should continue to be used to encourage creativity and the understanding of local history in the young,” said Alison Wallis, manager of the Museum.

Sessions – which run from 11.30am to 1pm and 2pm to 3.30pm – cost £2 per child with accompanying adults going free. To book a place call 01543 306260 or visit www.erasmusdarwin.org.
