TALENTED young performers are preparing to take to the city stage for a production of Hadestown.
The teen edition of the hit musical blends ancient Greek myth with the sound of American folk and jazz.
The Lichfield Musical Youth Theare production will be at the Garrick from today (23rd September) until Saturday.
A spokesperson said:
"Set in a Depression-era world, it tells two powerful love stories – young dreamers Orpheus and Eurydice, and the immortal rulers of the Underworld, Hades and Persephone.
"Based on the Tony Award-winning West End and Broadway musical, this moving, hopeful story about love, resilience, and the power of belief is brought to life by talented young performers."
